Just a friendly moderator concern.
As I look over the message base that I keep, I notice that a surprising
percentage of messages from you are negative to Word, pointing out what you
consider are "failures" or" bad programming choices."
Whereas this echo is *not* devoted to only saying nice things about Word, it
is a Word support echo; and if you can't appreciate a particular software,
why not use something else.
The so-called "failures" or "bag programming choices" are many times by
design, after consideration to many users, not just one, not just Christopher
Greaves. Instead of just
pointing out the "failure" or "bad programming choice," why not look for or
ask for ways to deal with the problem, instead of just an exposition of how
Microsoft didn't do something correct--in your eyes, at least.
Please do not respond via echomail. Respond via netmail only. Any response
to this message via echomail will be considered off topic and will receive
the appropriate warning.
