JK> It's funny that you should write this at the exact same time I
JK> have been considering writing a proposal for an "Advanced
JK> PowerBASIC Programming" book.
RP>Go for it!
JK> My question -- how big is the PB programmer base that an
JK> advanced book will get any sales?
RP>Then don't write his book - write your own book that covers the
>features and benefits of PowerBasic. Best Idea: Now that PB has
>pointers, get a good book on 'C++' and translate it to
>PowerBasic. Go into great detail about writing TSRs in PB. So
>many have problems with this feature. Include lotsa functions and
>procedures with multiple working examples.
He (JK) will have ONE sale, because I will stand in line at Midnight
for it on the release date! Keep the price retail in the $19.95
area and write another when PB3.3 comes out for another $19.95. If
JK makes the price $39.95, users will buy only one, but two twenty's
are easier to purchase $24.95????? Maybe so, mebbe not. :-)
