Peter Campbell was saying to Jon Filina:

That pretty well summed it up....
JF> I now find out that OS/2 does not support removeable drives. :-(
PC> Eh? I'm using a Zip (tm) drive with no problems, using the drivers

PC> doesn't support OS/2.
Actually it's a problem with OS/2. William Geiger pointed me in
the direction of some new drivers and that should solve the
problem. My EZ135 is the internal IDE version. The parallel
port version does not have this problem.
JF> If you are backing up from DOS to a removeable drive, what
JF> program are you using?
PC> I use Central Point Backup from PC DOS 7.0 for backing up from DOS.
I'm using basically the same program...CPBackup version 7.1 that came with
version 7 of PCTools. Is it handling the EA DATA file ok? Have you had to
restore one of the backups, and was it
successful?
Along the same lines, are you using the defragger (Compress)?
