subject: Re: Cheapest car for auto insurance?

From: "Glenn Meadows"

That's what Shelley and I rent when we drive to her parents in Florida.
She's got a big Windstar Van, and I've got a 2 seat Miata, so not real good
for 3 people and some luggage to go on a 4-5 day trip. We save a bunch on
gas, don't put a ton more miles on the Van (and her Dad usually pays for
the car). Plus, renting from Hertz (actually the cheapest we've found), we
get Sirius radio included, which really is nice for a long trip. Car rides
really nicely, too. I think we pay $180 for a week, unlimited mileage.
Anyway, good choice. Keep an eye on the Transmission, I've had people tell
me that they've had problems with them at times, probably the earlier
years, and should be fixed by the later model years.
