G'day Nick

NB> With the NetComm DSVD modems I can only see two main advantages
NB> for this products (sure there are others, but this is only my
 NB> opinion)

NB> (a) for game players, chat to a friends when playing Command &
 NB> Conquor and

I could see this quite useful with 1st person perspective style games
(DOOM, DuKE3Detc) being able to chat to the other player either
playing as a team or as opponets would be good.

 NB> (b) help desk support......

Would be useful if the client had remote access software.

NB> when you look at a typical application for a modem user its
NB> calling into a BBS or ISP when there may be 100's of modems in a
NB> room who is going to be at the other end to talk to anyway??
NB> also, if I'm doing a transfer I don't want to slow it down by
NB> using up bandwith on a conversation.....

same here, when downloading chatter is the last thing i want.
