I'm not familiar with the fmd BBS lister.  Is it a door based BBS lister
that automatically downloads the current BBS list from the Internet?  If it
uses standard door routines, I don't see why it wouldn't run on WWIV.  

The internal code for the BBS list in WWIV could be removed and replaced
with running that door.  Sounds good to me.
