subject: YOUR GREAT CODE POSTS

Hi there:-) Hodahafiz to you! Please don't stop posting code. It is what
makes my monitoring of this Echo worth while. I had a big struggle locally
to get this on line at DeepCove (You know of this BBS as you are local to me
). It is not that a lot of people use PBASIC here it seems. I tried to
get the SYSOP to carry the PB XTRA files but he seems to have glossed over
it. They are more interested in the latest Windows 95 access to the 'Net.
Also VBASIC is more useful to locals it seems and the QBASIC crowd is quite
strong. In your FAQ it might be useful to point out the major differences in
translating QuickBASIC code to PB32. I still find it hard to get some anwers
on that in spite of many months of asking questions. I have been trying out
a QB45 code generator and when trying to translate a lot of my Database Code

come up against compiler hangups etc. Anyway I now can do some Midnight
calling of the PB BBS so do you know if they have a good translator section
or is it just the little QB2PB they send you. Any FAQ on that I would
appreciate as there are BIG differences sometimes between QB45 and PB32
code.
