 Well, I don't know about the commentary on authorities and
 researchers, That was over 45 years ago when I was in 8th grade.

 We had a teacher who went into a lot of speed reading
 techniques. Now I see people typing faster than a lot of people
 can read. Thanks to computers. Ok, faster than some can read. I
 have been told some type well over 150WPM. I recall when 60WPM
 was fast.
