Hopefully that feel will continue for a few years anyway.  And I'm curious
as to what gas mileage I'll get!

Yep, it's the Mercury Sable.  My parents had one (early 90's) and that's
the vehicle that had a terrible torque steer -- it was almost undrivable on
snow/ice, and we lived in Wyoming. (not good!)  I don't remember the door
shaking, but I do remember it wasn't put together all that well.
