You should take SemPoint v2.26 for Windows for a spin.  It likes to create
Squish areas for off-line mail (BW or QWK) packets.

I have it set-up to hook directly into my JAM echo & *.Msg netmail
areas, shared with the BBS and JamNNTPd.  It does netmail far better than
GoldEd, which just goes stupid over network addresses (in this vBox).
