USR has stated that only the single board version may not need
modification; as Austel USRs are all daughterboard versions (and unlikely
to be modified since approval as it'll need re-approval), all the Austel
ones do. I assume USR may know what they are talking about since they made
the modems in the first place (and since their name don't start with N).

Austel or non-Austel is all you need to know.
