I posted some pictures and further development plans/ideas about my
microcontroller based scope driver:
http://martin.cibulski.bei.t-online.de/mount_controller.htm
This design makes it possible to control a mount from a PC running under
Windows. All time critical work is done by a separate Atmel AVR
microcontroller which communicates via a serial port with the PC.
The PC can do the floating point math and the microcontroller is
responsible for correct microstepping in both axes.
I will work on this because my new alt az scope will need both axes for
tracking. So any comments or suggestions are welcome.
Best Regards,
Martin
