In all the time I've used LO, I've never seen it exhibit any of that

behavior.  All of the PowerPoint slides that I've used (and with my school,

it's every single week!) have opened up in "edit mode" correctly.  Are you

sure it's not a setting in the PowerPoint slides themselves?
