Not if that means dealing with several tasks linearly;  parallel 
processing takes a task,  breaks it down into sub-tasks that can 
be processed simultaneously and then distributes them across 
separate processors;  the outputs are then re-assembled to make a 
coherent output..

There's a super-computer here at Massey University that the staff 
built out of 65 PC's - one PC breaks the next task down into =< 64 
sub-tasks, shoves them through the slave PC's and brings the 
outputs back into a coherent report - at astonishing speeds.

They're going for 129 PC's now...
