As Penny Powers was saying to Wendy Apgar:
PP> Well nice people are always missed.... BTW what is your address

My address is: Wendy Apgar, 16016 SE Division #327, Portland

 give you my phone number.
PP> Yes miscrowaves are great inventions.... I still don't have one...

PP> know sometimes I just crave the quiet and wish I were alone... I
PP> am glad you have friends to help out. They can be a life saver. I
PP> have a couple of friends here who have gone out of their ways to
PP> help me with babysitting of my five year old. Now that Dad has
PP> moved to Sioux Falls it is a little to do everything for this
 PP> family myself.

I was given the microwave one year for my birthday when
my friend's went together to pay for it. It's a small
one but it has been great for me. Especially because I
often have to do the quick meals. I'm fortunate to
have my mom who cooks extra when she can and freezes
it for me and another friend who comes by when I ask to
help make up some meals that can be frozen for the many
days when I hurt too badly to do much.
You craft the time to be alone at time...me I'm still
looking for whoever it is that will come into my life
to become a life-partner. I used to look for a husband,
but I gave that up long ago and figured that he'd come
 along eventually.
I am really lucky to have friends to help and it is
nice that there are things that I can give back such
as helping watch their kids sometimes.
PP> Sounds really nice. Most of the pillows I have done have always
PP> just been a complete pillow. I have always wanted to try and make
PP> one that is a slip cover and comes off forwashing. I am glad you
PP> mom was able to make it for you? I bet it will look simply
PP> wonderful when it is done.

I have several pillows that have a picture that I x-stitched
incorporated into the pillow. On one my mom embellished
with buttons that were my great grandmother's. All of them
can be removed to wash. They attatch by velcro in the bakc.
If my mom didn't do that it wouldn't get done because I
 hate that kind of sewing.
Right now my mom has been really sick though. They are going
to schedule surgery to take her gallbladder out and for
her sake I hope they do it soon!
 Thanks for caring.
 Wendy
