Me too, except for the motorcycling and the California stuff.  I used to
motorcycle, liked it very much too, but have never been to California. 
What am I missing?  :-)

If I was thinking of flying I doubt what happened due to terrorism would
influence my decision not to fly.  It would be the expense and the
hassel that would have the most influence ... I think.

Yes but they were in trouble before 9/11 so it is difficult to assess,
if not impossible, to say that 9/11 put them in the state they find
themselves in today.  I'd say all the stuff that happened since may have
accelerated things a tad but even that might be difficult to pin as a
reason for their recent financial difficulties.

That is what the news seems to be focussing on.  That and fuel prices.
