Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. You may want to check out (if you
haven't already) a cool tool called MEMMOND that you can use to check for
memory leaks and overflows in your Delphi apps. If you register it, it will
test for stack overwrites and tell you how much stack your app actually uses.
It even has a rudimentary profiler built in, and it's VERY easy to use.
It's available for freq here as MEMMND.ZIP.
