An embargo is never good for the country that is the target of one. The
purpose is to hurt. Sadam's military power was greatly diminished during
the embargo. We've been hurting the people of Cuba for generations with our
embargo. Do you think it has hurt Castro more than the Cuban people?
I would think the Libya one worked ( that and Reagan dropping a bomb into
Ghaddafi's bedroom )
