BG>> I'm now connecting reliably to your M34F at 28800/28800/LAPM, and David's

BG>> Courier at 33600/33600/LAPM.

BG>> Changing modems does not mysteriously improve the line quality Paul. My

BG>> lines are still marginal, around -33dBm down on Rx, but the V.34+ EPROM

BG>> appears to have considerably more grunt than the old V.34 one. I'm now

BG>> satisfied, so my stats collections have come to an abrupt and welcome

 BG> end.

RB>> Ahh finally, Bill is as happy as a pig in poop,

BG> Well, I'm as happy as one can be under the circumstances, at least.

 BG> Short of

BG> buying a unit in Dave Drummond's block, which is as close to the Ascot

 BG> phone

BG> exchange as a list of buggy Rockwell chipsets is long, there's nothing

I just got given a casket $200,000 ticket, that won't even buy ME a house there.

So sorry I can't help you.

What is David doing with that Netcomm, I haveonly connected at 14400 for

4 days. Is it me at fault or is David back to the old internal 14400 sporty

 for a while.

BG> that I

BG> can do to improve the quality of my phone lines, being restricted instead

 BG> to

BG> using that V.34+ EPROM which gives the best results when calling Paul's

 BG> M34F.

RB>> New found enthusiasm for USR products (happens EVERYTIME USR springs a

 BG> new

RB>> release on us)

BG> Give it a rest, Russ. You're preaching to the converted.

Doesn't mean you have to stop going to sunday school.
