Hi! Roger, On Tue, 30 Apr 13, you wrote to me: RN> I bought a Dell mb once, but never again. We've ended-up with a stack of 'em hereabouts. They're usually quite reliable, though not so with their laptops. Which might be a comment, in any case, about laptops in general. Running DOS stuff even in Windows (Vista, W7 or W8) these days requires at least one hoop-jumping step. Probably more. It's kind of a break-even situation: six of one, half-dozen of t'other. I'm comfortable with XP doing some elementary DOS stuff but nothing like in Win98. U'u has a far less overhead requirement, overall. RN> "The oxen are slow, but the earth is patient." Hah! I saw the movie just the other night! (I found a copy, courtesy of EwwToob.) One of my favourite romantic flicks. When younger, I was very into flying & chicks. :) Cheers, Paul. ...
