If someone wants some form of social research done properly with a 
reasonable profit for me, they have my immediate attention.

If I can crack the puzzle of how people read,  then there are 
immediate returns to be had in teaching, remedial and speed 
reading fields...

Always is right - acquiring knowledge is a practiceable skill,  
and the early you develop it properly the better;   one of the 
best ways to develop your own skills is to teach them to others...
