Some people I know in California work hard to educate their ISP teachers
about homeschooling - how it is not school at home and does not have the same
needs as a classroom of 20 or 30 or.... Others I know take a more agressive
manner and tell the teacher what they are doing that requires his/her help -
leaving little time for them to impose requirements.
I personally think that whenever you take government money (in the form of
ISP materials and "help"), you get government strings. You have seen
examples now in action.
