It was not I but David van Hoose who wanted to know, Nick. As I said,
it doesn't really work too well on a monochrome VDU. :-) On a PC there are
several ways to do it, including int 10, writing direct to video RAM, and
taking direct control of the video card. I tend to use the ANSI driver
myself for pretty colours on a PC, but that's a far cry from civilised
graphics.
