Hi, All.

If anyone is interested, I would be happy for you to look at what I've so
far posted on my webpage concerning the design of refractor objectives:
alice.as.arizona.edu/~rogerc.

Mostly it would be helpful at this stage to know whether the stuff makes
any sense, or if it's too complicated to follow as I've so far written it.
The details are still fluid and contain mistakes. But I'm worried in
general about Chapters 1 and 2, since I can't easily put in annotated
diagrams and so must rely heavily on words to explain visual concepts.

If the stuff is too hard to follow without better diagrams, then I'll need
to rethink my strategy.

Thanks much,
Roger

PS There's not a lot yet about the objectives. It's all the optics
background so far.
