Hi Regina,
Sorry to be so long replying - I've had neither time or inclination to
do so and am still catching up on just reading my mail packages.

Well, I still don't know how old the child is so it's hard to form an
opinion. I don't think that a child does generally correct this within a
few weeks as you said - at least from what I remember.

How old is Jeremy? I think he is 8? Time to worry about backwards b and
d is grade 2, usually if it continues beyond then it could mean a
learning disability.

Yes, eyes could be the problem and this cannot be ruled out. I always
thought that the Md gives a sight exam (simple) at the yearly physical.
I know my doctor always does - though I sometimes wonder why she bothers
as I am short sighted and have my eyes checked by an ophthalmologist
annually. I guess I am lucky to live in a country where these kind of
exams are covered under provincial insurance. Now if only they would
pay for prescriptions and dental work. ;) And while I'm dreaming they
can also pay for my contact lenses and my glasses!
