I just went back through all the messages I've generated since the
ramming occured and not ONCE did I imply that the users in the FLAME
echo were the perpatrators of the offense.  However, in the interest of
fairness:

As the moderator of AVIATION I want to make it clear to all concerned
that at NO time have I considered the FLAME echo or any specific
members of it to be the miscreants who bombed this echo.
Additionally, it was never my intent to cast aspersions on those
members. For those who _like_ that sort of thing, I say Bon Appetite and
Godspeed!
I cannot, however, support the use of such language on ANY public
bulletin board, and condem the insertion of such filth into OUR well
behaved echo as a cowardly act. A misguided attempt on someone's part
to harm me personally by attacking the echo. To them I say, Shame on
you, if you want me, come after me somewhere where it's topical, NOT
here where the subject is AVIATION.
