Hi Matt,
On 09 Jun 97 21:57 You talked about *Re: Ficha Cannon*...
BG>> Of course, your comments are correct, there's always someone that
BG>> can't follow a standard and thus are "out of phase" with everybody
BG>> else!
MI> I'm sure those pin-three-hot guys would say the same about "us". Alas,

hat
MI> "pin three hot" was a European thing,
Grinn....It could be French (they are always purpendicular with litterally
anything ) But then...who is using french equipment anyway ? :)
No, the 'pin-3-hot' thing is defenitly 'not done' over here :)
MI> but then there are some European manufacturers who use pin two,
Nope, almost all of them :)
MI> and some "new worlders" who use pin 3...in my experience, pin-two-hot
MI> equipment only slightly outweighs the pin-three stuff, so it can't really
MI> be considered an anomaly.
Slightly ??...Well, in my experience almost all of the equipment is pin-2-hot
stuff...I personally ran into only one pin-3-hot thing and instantaniously
rewired it because I thougt the manufacturer made an error ..
MI> Of course, some people seem to have to be different just for the sake of
MI> being different... not mentioning any names *coughJBLhackSPEAKERSwheeze!*
If you want to be a real pain in the butt of JBL....send the cabinets back
with the complaint that the output is out of phase and that they can choose
to correct it according to the standards or shove it up their ..... where it
hurts
