JE:-
The original discussion was not about
when "altruism towards a single individual
will evolve" only using a relative
fitness standard (that does not allow
such an event to be measured via the
rule as Dr O'Hara has confirmed)
it only concerned the proposition
that only a single non group
selective event existed within the
rule. This was when all of b (no matter
how large or how small b becomes) is
donated to just a single recipient.
Does Dr O'Hara agree or disagree
that all cases of Hamilton's rule
where > 1 recipients receive b
largess from just one actor are
classically group selective irrespective
of the size of the b donation?
