Well, I've already pretty much committed to switching to FirstEdge on
the Mac from QuickBooks. Here's where things stand: in a little
while, later today, I'm calling Intuit to request a refund of my
QuickBooks 2008 upgrade. After that, I'm going to buy FirstEdge (I've
got it set up already on my Mac here, with this year's Syndicomm data
already in it) and start the paperwork to get an MYOB merchant account
for credit card processing.

The merchant account will take at least two days and possibly as long
as a week to get. Until then, though, I'll be able to at least
process through the PayPal orders, so I hope to get some of those done
this week.

At this point, the only things that might prevent this switch are if
Intuit refuses for some reason to refund my money or I for some reason
can't get the new merchant account opened.
