subject: Parameters to Max

Not sure if I should be asking this in the Bink or Max echo...

I used Bink & Max years ago. It seems I've forgotten some stuff
(senile, I'm sure) now that I'm trying to get my BBS going again.
I'm using the DOS versions of Max and Bink, the most recent
versions of each. Max is working fine for me in WFC mode and
Bink appears to be loading up just fine.

Bink is supposed to send command line parameters to Max, right?
So, I've got this in my batch file:

max -b%2 -p%3 -t%4 -s%1

Trouble is, Max isn't getting anything out of it. With that, Max
logs that the caller had no time left. So, I tried hardcoding
the time available, like this:

max -b%2 -p%3 -t60 -s%1

...and Max thinks it's supposed to start a local login, so it's
obviously not getting the other information either, right?

I put this in my batch file, right before the line where Max is
called, to try to see what Bink was passing:

echo b=%2 p=%3 t=%4 s=%1 >>frombink.log

Would that show me the values being passed by Bink if they're
being passed? The file FROMBINK.LOG looked like this:

b= p= t= s=

...so can somebody suggest what I should tinker with next?

Thanks in advance, Brad.
