I know someone with a small studio outside one of the cities in CT who thinks
such rappers are good customers because they're usually too illiterate to be
overly demanding, and they're used to credit terms of green COD. Boring
work, of course.

For all the "we ought to be allowed to discuss car thump thump here"
complaints, have you noticed the number of weeks where the CAR_AUDIO echo has
had a zero message count?

(He's fairly local to me, and I helped him upgrade his amps for the 10 KW
home basement system.)
I'm reluctant to post much on the internet, as I already get more email than
I can handle among four ftn nets, and a few listservers. I follow a few
newsgroups (which are SPAM targets), but am more likley to start off-group cc
list threads than post very often. Two lists I'm on actually require about a
half hour worth of application form completion to be approved to participate,
in order to filter people who aren't serious and hold down off topic volume.
