Your Human is not hopeless!
Although you may have owned him for years, and he sits babbling human
speech at you for hours, and even plays tapes of human talk, YOU CAN
teach him to speak Parrot!
The secret is that humans have very poor senses. Hearing in particular
is very bad, so you need to SQUAWK LOUDLY in Parrot to teach your
human.
Don't be discouraged if he covers your cage while you are giving him a
lesson. He is only doing it so he won't be distracted by your beautiful
feathers. Keep up the lesson, the LOUDER the BETTER!
Humans are also at their highest learning potential early in the
morning, so start lessons no later than 5AM. At this time, their
hearing a particularly bad, so be sure to give it you best voice!
With these tricks in mind, you will soon have your human babbling away
in Parrot. Don't expect him to be coherent right away. After all, we
are speaking of a creature of limited intelligence! Just so he
understand the parrot words for "FEED ME!" and "GIMME A GRAPE" or "TIME
TO BUY ME A NEW TOY" you will be doing well.
