Nvidia drivers changed the

Hi Cal,
I don't know whether in the interim your problem has been solved, but I
have had no problems whatsoever here with a DIAMOND NVidia RIVA TNT2
32MB AGP card with my Trinitron CRTs or 17" Flat-Panels. I am using a
reasonably recent version [Build 478] of SNAPse, so I'd suggest you
update your circa 5-year old SDD drivers to currently available SNAP
driver on ecomstation.com!
I presume that you didn't actually want to run as only 640 x 480 as
defined in your config.sys above?
These are my lines from current config.sys:
SET DISPLAYTYPE=VGA
SET VCFG_NO_DDC=TRUE
DEVINFO=SCR,VGA,E:\OS2\BOOT\VIOTBL.DCP
SET VIDEO_DEVICES=VIO_SVGA
SET VIO_SVGA=DEVICE(BVHVGA,BVHSVGA)
DEVICE=E:\OS2\MDOS\VSVGA.SYS
SET GRADD_CHAINS=C1
DEVICE=E:\OS2\GRADD.SYS
DEVICE=E:\OS2\MDOS\VMANWIN.SYS
SET GREEXT=SDDGREXT
SET C1=SDDGRADD
DEVICE=E:\OS2\SDDHELP.SYS
I don't think an SDD from that vintage had an \os2\drivers\nucleus
directory tree, but for quite a while SNAPse has had an
\os2\drivers\SNAP tree which replaced it, but it has to be manually
removed - if running SDD you don't need to reset the system back to VGA
to update to SNAP, just run "SETUP SNAP" from the directory you expanded
the SNAP installation executable into [by running
" -d"]
HTH
Regards,
Mike
