Hello Robert.

22 Dec 07 09:32, you wrote to me:

Another thing, I always use the ZIP file, IREX229.ZIP, just downloaded from
filegate.net, as the links on the IREX page are all "broken".
Reason I use ZIP
file is, it is a long time since I ran a distro, that supported the RPM
format.

Used mc to create, directory "irextest" copied IREXL229.ZIP from
"Desktop", to
"irextest" opened terminal, cd to ~russell/fido/irextest

unzip -L IREXL229.ZIP - to extract all files from the ZIP file in lowercase

there where 2 files that where execuatable, used mc to remove their executable
status, selected rexcfgl and rexl change status to 755, executed both in a
full screen terminal, and they work just fine and dandy .... (./rexl and
./rexcfgl)

Kernel 2.6.22-14 ... , Ubuntu 7.10 - 64-bit ...

Russell
