Actually his message was "From: Sysop" and quite inconspicuous...your reply 
was "To: Sysop", and thus picked up in personal mail scans all over the 
world. Also, netmail goes to a single destination address unless a chain of 
collaborative systems are specifically set up to route it through each other. 
It does not go to all the Fidonet sysops in the world.
