That's interesting. Last time I installed NT 3.51 with a 562 off an SB16 it
worked without a hitch. When you get to the part about selecting mass
storage, it was in the list. I wasnt aware that the SBPro also had a
Panasonic interface.
One drive it didnt like was a Panasonic 581M. Upon enquiring, MS informed
me that the drive was not, and would not be, supported. I stole the ATAPI
CDRom driver from the WinNT 4 beta and away it went. Now this is a driver
written by MS, but they denied all knowledge of it. ;-)
As for the Cirrus Logic, I'm positive I have installed 3.51 with one of
these in the machine, but perhaps mine was a different model to yours? From
memory it was a 5428... but my memory isnt what it used to be. :)
