-> Double talk or Not, Leasing is a Foolish venture ro personal
-> transportation unless one like dumping money down a rat hole. It does
-> though allow the Foolish and Vain to get a new car every couple
-> years. BUT at a High Price!
Gee, Tom, I didn't realize that I was vain AND foolish. I like to get a new
car every other year. For no other reasons than I want to, and I can afford
to. I lease my cars simply because it is cheaper than buying a new car every
other year and then trading in or selling the "old" one.
Does this make me "Foolish and Vain"? I don't think so.
However, I agree with you that leasing is foolish for most people who want
and need affordable transportation. Most people don't realize that if you
plan on keeping a car for any length of time you are much better off buying
than leasing. People usually see the "low" monthly payment and don't
understand, or want to understand, the long-term costs
