d. 31 July 1846, Montreal, Canada) and his wife
Elizabeth Ann CAMPBELL (b. circa 1804 Ireland ?;
d. 7 Jan. 1842)

John Creelman migrated to Montreal as a young man. John and Elizabeth
had three children, Margaret (died young) 
John CREELMAN (b. 1820, Montreal; d. Rochester, 6 March 1893)
Matthew CREELMAN (b. 28 April 1834, Montreal; 
d. 14 June, 1890, Montreal)

Matthew Creelman married Martha DUNWOODIE (b. 1 Jan. 1835, Montreal; d.
11 Nov. 1897, New York) Martha was the daughter of Edward Dunwoodie and
Martha MC COMB

Matthew and Martha had a number of children including JAMES CREELMAN
(b. 12 Nov. 1859 Montreal; d. 12 Feb. 1915) a promenent journalist
whose biography I am presently writing.

Any information about this branch of the Creelman family will be of
great assistance especially anything which links John (1798-1846) to
other Creelmans either in Ireland or North America, especially Nova
Scotia.
