I found that a fine dot pitch will improve even lower resolution
pictures- look at a TV program displayed on a VGA monitor (through
the appropriate converter), and despite its much lower resolution
(about 300 x 300), it will look much better.  Of course, I can't
justify watching movies on a 20" screen that costs as much as five
TVs of the same size.  ;-)
