DC> ...declarations DC> char *malloc(); DC> char *ps[30]; DC> DC> ...At start of program I initialize the array to be safe.. It seems as though you've forgotten a couple of things in your "malloc" statement. malloc() returns a pointer to void and needs to be cast. You haven't declared a name for malloc() to allocate. You haven't told malloc() how MUCH you want to allocate. Perhaps what you wanted to do was something like: char * ps = (char *)malloc(30); * KWQ/2 1.2i * --- FLAME v1.1* Origin: Port Chicago's Loading Dock - 510-676-5359 (1:161/204) SEEN-BY: 396/1 632/0 371 633/260 267 270 371 634/397 635/506 728 810 639/252 SEEN-BY: 670/218 @PATH: 161/204 42 215/34 270/101 396/1 633/260 635/506 728 633/267 |
