subject: Slow down BBS Transmissions

I'm accessing some BBSes via Telnet using a high-speed internet connection. My
terminal is called SecureCRT. I'm under windows XP.

When back in the day I was accessing BBSses with a modem, I actually had time
to 'enjoy' these ANSI graphics. For these long ANSI scenes, it could take up to
40 seconds, or more to draw on the screen. I had time to view them as they
were comming in.

Today, transmissions are so fast that I can't really enjoy them 'line by line'
as I used to.

Is there any way to "limit" transmission speeds on my telnet client? Say
emulate 28.8, 36k or 56k modem speeds?

Thanks.
