Sorry, I misinformed you, there does not appear to have been a survey on 
laptops at ecomstation.ru - they do list compatibility information about 
separate components however as does os2warp.be - unfortunately the 
notebook part of this site at:

http://www.os2warp.be/index2.php?name=notebook2

Appears to be down.

An addition to the list - if this laptop has a Firewire interface, 
you're probably not going to be able use it as firewire driver support 
is at a VERY early stage.
