Actually, I use urethane flue almost exclusively now.  The warning was that
if you put it on too thick it's hard to control and cleanup.  I just glued
up a six sided tube and rocker box (made with finger joints) using urethane
glue.  Now I'm cutting off the excess glue - and I was careful. You also
need to get it off your hands quickly.  The only way to get it out of
clothes after it dries is to cut it out.

It sticks to just about everything, it's waterproof and you only use 1/3 as
much as yellow glue.  It's great for outdoor projects.
