Biscuits are good, but I have to go with the box/finger joints as being
ultimately stronger. Biscuits are great when there is a need to insure
alignment of pieces, as in a space frame to a cabinet carcass. Box/finger
joints are better where strength is needed.
Of course, there is a degree of craftsmanship needed regardless of how you
join the pieces, and there is a lot to be said for modern adhesives too.
