Just thought I'd let folks know that in the WA_GOVT echo there's
someone, a Jane Kelly, who says she is a nurse, a RN, and who is
fanatically against the use of marijuana - FOR ANY REASON.
I posted some FACTS - both medical FACTS and historical FACTS - about
marijuana and this (below) is what I got back in a reply.
If you want to join me in that echo here's the lastest thing

Looks like today, in the U.S.A., when the truth is too much to take
they turn to intimidation and the insane "War on Drugs" - along with
the threat of the use of jackbooted thugs - to shut people up.
This person, this so-called nurse, is =FOR= putting people in prison
so as to =FORCE= them into drug treatment.
I'm 49 years old and have done that/been there in the 60s and 70s
as far as doing drugs is concerned. At present I don't do any
drugs...also don't drink. That fact, however, isn't meant to convey
the impression that I view smoking pot as being wrong - for I don't.
If a person wants to smoke pot that's their decision - not mine
to make.
Anyway...
I know damn well that there is NO WAY of "forcing" a person to
quit doing any ANY of choice. Like I said, I've been there/done that.
The person has to WANT to quit in order to quit. Apparently this
so-called nurse, with all her education, seems to have forgotten
that fact - or desires to ignore that fact to further her own
private agenda which appears to be to put more people in prison
for smoking pot.
If there are any folks in here that would like to join me in
laying a few facts of life on this so-called nurse you are most
welcome.
