The latest edition is in fact BCO2.  I don't recolect ever reading about
a newer version, and I just did a check of the price guides that I have for
the past couple of years, and BCO2 is certainly the newest edition.

You might consider getting the next MCO (14, I believe) that comes out.  The
next MCO is likely to be substantially earlier than the next BCO and they're
both quickly becoming outdated.  The biggest argument for BCO is that they
have fewer errors and are more dependable, but are you willing to wait years
and years for this quality (which will be outdated by the time it comes out
anyway)?  The MCO has its own advantages too, such as the # of games to give
you an idea of the themes involved in particular openings, along with a
convenient layout.  I have BCO2, but to tell you the truth, if it weren't for
the fact that I got it for $15 used, but in near mint condition, I would have
opted for the MCO13.  Unless I can get a similar deal on the next BCO, or if
an MCO doesn't seem to be coming, I will switch to the cheaper MCO series.

BTW, what do you think of the ECO series?  I think that these books are much
past the depth that I would ever care to delve into (BCO2 is still more than
I can handle :) ).  I have the same opinion of the monographs.
