Just install cameraderie, attach your camera to an USB slot and transfer 
your photo to the hard disk.

PTP makes an easy end to all kinds hard disk formatting compatibility 
problems by circumventing the hard disk formatting issue.  And, doesn't 
matter for you and for me of course, but it seems it makes life much 
easier at  Windy systems too.
