Hi, Sondra,
RA>Most IQ tests, especially those administered to large numbers of grade

>perspective, I don't think too many American kids would do well if the IQ
>tests assumed a knowledge of such things as shadow puppets, Tibetan
SB>
SB> Grin! I can just see that test now.
Come to think of it, I had a professor in college who had all of those
things (except for a stupa) in his office, which was a real
rabbit-warren.
>prayer wheels, and stupas. Doilies, though, are pretty much a cultural
>artifact now and not many people have them. I tend to associate them
>with my grandmother, who crocheted many, many doilies over the years.
SB>
SB> I have a couple of croqueted doilies in one of my dresser drawers. An
SB> elderly woman gave them to me. I haven't decided yet what I'm going
SB> to do with them.
Heh, guess I spoke too soon. My leadworker organized a reception when
one of the ladies I work with retired. I helped her set up. Every
serving plate had a paper doily on it!! I have two of Grandma's doilies
under the glass on the coffee table.
Take care,
Robin
