We all grew up with Schwin, Raleigh(British) and various US made bicycles,
then came the imports, and did they come. By l985 they had better than 80% of
the market, 5 speeds, 10 speeds, then came l990's the MTB, and the ATB, and
we watched bicycle dealers shops, close, scale down as mass merchants stocked
a heavier load of foreign bikes. I think at last observation, about 12 months
ago touring the racks, I did not see a single made in USA bike. Then comes a
Wash. state firm, name unknown, and briefly on TV. A US firm US Mfg. of
bikes, and not only are they selling, they are selling it to foreign
countries? Now that is like selling transistor radios and TV's back to the
Japanese? I really wonder what is behind the success story, who they are, and
how they did it. I still don't know the brand name, the TV news was too brief
on that and did not disclose much. It is what I call diluted information.
What is the beef in informing people who they are more specifically?
