I'm sure that the more knowledgeable will give you (or, as I'm way behind
as usual, may already have given) helpful ideas for getting launched
with telnet... :)  Some programs have it built in, some more easily
workable than other...  :)  I'm just a user, not a sysop...

One of the really nice things about Fidonet is the helpfulness you find
here, for any aspect... as long as you ask in the right (or close
enough) place...  ;)
